InterArtists - Entertainer Visas

InterArtists specializes in the acquisition of non-immigrant worker visas for international athletes, entertainers, entertainment groups and support personnel. These visas are typically applied for by U.S. based agents.

The P-1 visa is sought for internationally recognized athletes, athletic teams, entertainers, entertainment companies (and their support personnel) and distinguished circus artists entering the U.S. to participate in an event of international standing.

The P-2 visa applies to artists and entertainment groups entering the U.S. through a government recognized reciprocal exchange program.

The P-3 visa may be sought for artists and entertainers entering the U.S. to perform in a culturally unique program or to represent, teach, or coach cultural, musical, ethnic folk, artistic, or theatrical arts in the U.S. It also applies to artists entering the U.S. to enhance the development or understanding of culturally unique art forms.

The O-1 visa is available to persons of extraordinary ability in the arts, athletics, business, education or sciences - foreign nationals who have received major prizes or awards or other recognition for outstanding achievements in the field of arts, sciences, education, business or athletics, foreign nationals who have produced original scientific or scholarly contributions in the academic fields and artists and entertainers of extraordinary ability affiliated with motion picture or television industry with a job offer from a U.S. company.

The O-2 visa is available to essential support personnel of O-1 visa holders and the O-3 visa is available to spouses and children of O-1 and O-2 visa holders

The H-2b visa is available to entertainers who do not reach the "extraordinary/outstanding" ability standards of the O and P visas.

Individual entertainers and support personnel may apply for the O-1 or H-2b visas and entertainment groups and accompanying support personnel may apply for the P-1, P-2 or P-3 visa. Entertainment groups may apply for the P-1, P-2 and P-3 in one visa application. InterArtists can also handle requests for extensions of stay.
