InterArtists specializes in the acquisition of non-immigrant worker
visas for international athletes, entertainers, entertainment
groups and support personnel. These visas are typically
applied for by U.S. based agents.
The P-1
visa is sought for internationally recognized athletes,
athletic teams, entertainers, entertainment companies
(and their support personnel) and distinguished circus
artists entering the U.S. to participate in an event of
international standing.
The P-2
visa applies to artists and entertainment groups entering
the U.S. through a government recognized reciprocal exchange
program.
The P-3
visa may be sought for artists and entertainers entering
the U.S. to perform in a culturally unique program or
to represent, teach, or coach cultural, musical, ethnic
folk, artistic, or theatrical arts in the U.S. It also
applies to artists entering the U.S. to enhance the development
or understanding of culturally unique art forms.
The O-1
visa is available to persons of extraordinary ability
in the arts, athletics, business, education or sciences
- foreign nationals who have received major prizes or
awards or other recognition for outstanding achievements
in the field of arts, sciences, education, business or
athletics, foreign nationals who have produced original
scientific or scholarly contributions in the academic
fields and artists and entertainers of extraordinary ability
affiliated with motion picture or television industry
with a job offer from a U.S. company.
The O-2
visa is available to essential support personnel of O-1
visa holders and the O-3 visa is available to spouses
and children of O-1 and O-2 visa holders
The H-2b
visa is available to entertainers who do not reach the
"extraordinary/outstanding" ability standards
of the O and P visas.
Individual entertainers and support personnel may apply
for the O-1 or H-2b visas and entertainment groups and
accompanying support personnel may apply for the P-1,
P-2 or P-3 visa. Entertainment groups may apply for the
P-1, P-2 and P-3 in one visa application. InterArtists
can also handle requests for extensions of stay.
